Trap Concaverde

The Trap Concaverde shooting range in Lonato del Garda, in partnership with FITAV, under the auspices of the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), shall host the first ever WSPS Para Trap World Championship, for motor impaired shooters.

The Garda complex, venue of the 2017 WSPS Para Trap World Cup, will be the ideal stage for another milestone of the Para Trap development project, conducted by FITAV under the mandate of IPC (International Paralympic Committee) and the ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation).

The Trap Concaverde in Lonato has now been hosting the most important and prestigious shooting competitions at world level for more than 20 years, including the 2015 ISSF World Shotgun Championship, featuring over 800 shooters from 92 countries and the 2016 ESC European Championship, with 440 shooters representing 42 European countries.

In the first week of October the best Paralympic shooters from over 30 countries are awaited to gather in Lonato del Garda. These athletes and their accompanying staff, managers and carers, shall soon enjoy the artistic and landscape treasures of our territory, lodging in the comfortable accommodations of the nearby areas.

The competition programme will be based on a six days schedule, from October 2 till 7, as follows:

Tuesday Oct. 02 - Arrivals

Wedneday Oct. 03 - Athlete’s classification and Unofficial training

Thursday Oct. 04 - Athlete’s classification - Technical Meeting - Pre Event Training - Equipment Control

Friday Oct. 05 - 1st Day of Competition (75 targets)

Saturday Oct. 06 - 2nd Day of Competition (50 targets) – Finals and Medal presentations

Sunday Oct. 07 - Departures
