‘Le Notti del Vino’ returns to Lonato del Garda:
two evenings of wine tastings, culture, music and starlit nights in the Rocca Viscontea Veneta.
On 26 and 27 August, this prestigious event organised by the National Association of Wine Cities will be coming to Lonato del Garda with a packed programme dedicated to the finest wines, local produce and the promotion of cultural heritage.
Lonato del Garda is preparing to host one of the summer’s most eagerly awaited events dedicated to celebrating Italy’s wine heritage. On Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August 2026, from 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm, the splendid setting of the Rocca di Lonato del Garda will host ‘Le Notti del Vino’, the national initiative promoted by the National Association of Wine Cities, which each year involves numerous Italian municipalities in a programme of events dedicated to wine culture, wine tourism and the promotion of local specialities.
The Lonato edition – sponsored by the Lombardy Region and the Brescia Chamber of Commerce – is the result of a collaboration between the local council, the Ugo da Como Foundation and the Le Virtù Veronesi Association, the organising partner for the 2026 edition.
For two evenings, the Rocca Park will be transformed into an elegant culinary journey, where visitors can discover local wineries (thanks also to the involvement of the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Garda Association), taste selected wines and savour typical local produce, enjoying an experience that combines tradition, quality and conviviality in one of the city’s most iconic locations.
How it works
The event involves purchasing a tasting kit, which includes a glass, a glass holder, four wine tastings and a plate of typical local produce. The kit can be booked online at the promotional price of €20.00 or purchased directly on site on the days of the event for €25.00.
Alongside the tastings, the audience will be able to enjoy an experience that engages all the senses, thanks to a packed programme of musical entertainment: on Wednesday 26 August, from 8.30 pm, Sangue Blues will take to the stage with a show inspired by the energy of the Blues Brothers, whilst from 10.00 pm the evening will continue with a DJ set by Margiani & Lucky Trumpet, an original fusion of house music and live trumpet; On Thursday 27 August, meanwhile, the refined atmosphere of the NG Duo Band will take centre stage, with a repertoire of jazz, pop and R&B to entertain the audience throughout the evening.
It’s not just music and tastings, but also art and astronomy: visitors will, in fact, be able to access the exhibition “Nepal TODAY. In the Forest in the Villages’, held in the Sala del Capitano della Rocca, visit the Ornithological Museum and gaze at the starry sky thanks to the collaboration with the Unione Astrofili Bresciani, transforming the evening into an experience that combines taste, art, science and culture.
The programme will be rounded off by a selection of gourmet food trucks, where visitors can enjoy high-quality meat and fish specialities, designed to perfectly complement the wine tastings and offer visitors a complete food and wine experience.
New for 2026
With this event, Lonato del Garda reaffirms its place on the national circuit for this type of event, creating a significant opportunity to promote the local area and its outstanding produce. Unlike previous editions, the event will take place over two evenings, to allow as many people as possible – including residents, tourists and enthusiasts – to discover the town, one of the most picturesque destinations on Lake Garda.
